Terms of Service

Yiliao Terms of Service

Effective: April 26, 2026

This Agreement is between you and Chengdu Jingtum Technology Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us”) regarding your use of Yiliao (the “Service”). Please read it carefully — especially the limitation-of-liability clauses — before registering or using the Service. By registering or starting to use Yiliao, you agree to be bound by this Agreement in full.

1. Service Description

Yiliao is an instant-messaging application that lets you communicate with others via text, photos, voice, video, files, and other media. The core features are free; some premium features may carry a fee, which will be clearly disclosed and require your explicit confirmation before activation.

2. Account Registration & Use

  • Register with a real and valid phone number or email address; safeguard your account credentials;
  • Your account is for your personal use only — do not lend, transfer, or rent it to others; you are responsible for any loss caused by unauthorized use;
  • Comply with applicable laws and public order; do not use the Service for any illegal activity or to harm others' rights;
  • Each phone number or email may register only one account; we may clean up duplicate accounts at our discretion.

3. User Conduct

You undertake not to publish, transmit, or transfer content that:

  • Violates the basic principles of the Constitution, endangers national security or unity, or incites ethnic hatred;
  • Promotes terrorism, extremism, cult activity, or spreads rumors that disrupt social order;
  • Defames, insults, or otherwise infringes others' reputation, privacy, image, or intellectual-property rights;
  • Is obscene, pornographic, gambling-related, violent, or otherwise illegal;
  • Distributes viruses, trojans, malicious code, or otherwise interferes with normal operation of the Service;
  • Accesses the Service via unauthorized scrapers, automation, or third-party plug-ins.

If you violate the above, we may immediately suspend service to you, delete the offending content, ban your account, and report to the relevant authorities.

4. Intellectual Property

The icons, UI, source code, and documentation of the Service are owned by us. The content of the messages you send remains your property; we obtain only the minimum license necessary to operate the Service (relay, deliver, back up). We will not use your message content for any commercial purpose.

5. Privacy

Our commitments regarding your personal information are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this Agreement.

6. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination

  • We may modify or suspend Service features for business reasons, system maintenance, or force majeure; we will give reasonable advance notice;
  • You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time;
  • If you materially breach this Agreement, we may immediately terminate service without refund.

7. Disclaimers

  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for service interruption or data loss caused by force majeure, network failure, or third-party action;
  • For disputes between you and other users, we will assist in providing necessary evidence but will not directly mediate;
  • The Service is provided “AS IS,” without express or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Minors

The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the chaperonage and written consent of a parent or guardian; the guardian is responsible for the minor's use of the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover an unconsented account belonging to a minor, we will immediately stop service and delete the relevant account information. Guardians who discover unconsented use may contact us at guoxiaojie@cdjingtum.com for assistance.

9. Changes to This Agreement

We may revise this Agreement. Revisions will be announced via in-app notice or push notification. Continued use after the new version takes effect constitutes acceptance; if you disagree, please stop using the Service and delete your account.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring suit in the competent People's Court at our domicile (Chengdu, Sichuan).
